We as in Conwy Channel, aim to do this by empowering current service users to become more involved in their care plans and the running of services, We do this by accessing the customers of the services provided and gathering their opinion's in various ways ie, suggestion boxes, outreach, questionaires, weekly focus groups and one to one's with service users, All service user input is valued, Channel then presents the opinion's to all relevant service providers and attends relevant provider meetings and forums. We aim to identify gaps in provisions and also the positives and negatives in the services being provided, Our aim is to make it as easy as possible for someone with substance misuse issues to access the appropriate support service.
